Abstract:This studyaimstoscreenoutthemaizegermplasmresources withsuitable plantheightandearheightforachieving high yields.The phenotypicdataand genotypicdataof215maizegermplasmresources werecolected,andagenome-widesociation study(GWAS)wasconductedfor theelite germplasmresources intermsofgenotype,diseaseresistance,and yield.Thecluster analysislasifde5esoustibos:,asteipigto andthematerialsarehighlyrepresentative.TheGWASof134elitemaizegermplasmresoucesidentifiedsevenQTLsrelatedtoplant heightandearheight.Amongthem,twoQTLsoverlapped withexistingcloned genes,andfiveQTLswerenewlyidentifed.OneQTL interval forbothplantheightandearheightwaslocatedonchromosome7.TheseQTLsprovideabasisforthefinemappingofplant height and ear height genes.
