Abstract：Therapid propagationofDendrobiumstrongylanthum wascariedoutbytissueculturewiththecapsuleas theexplantThe efect ofdisinfectants and growth hormones onthe inductionof adventitious budsand adventitious roots were studied.Furthermore， theoptimal dsiectiononditios，sedgeinatoniu，prolferationanddieretationdum，ootingmedum，adbate fortransplantationof isseculturesdingsweresreed.Teesultssowedtatteotialdisifectioconditioseretatof the explant with 0.08%HgCl2 for 16min ，underwhich the germinationrate reached 97% .Themost suitablemedium for seed germination was 1/2 MS + sucrose 25g/L+agar5g/L+ potato puree 20g/L ， in which the germination rate was 98% . The optimal proliferation and differentiation medium was MS + sucrose 30g/L+agar 5g/L+ potato puree 60g/L+ banana puree 40g/L+6 -BA 0.2mg/L+NAA 0.4mg/L ，in which the proliferation timesreached19.47.The optimal rooting medium was 3/4 MS + sucrose 20g/L+agar 5g/L+ potato puree 50g/L+ banana puree 100g/L+6 -6-BA0.5mg/L+NAA1.0mg/L+AC 0.1%， inwhich the rooting rate was 97.33% and the average root number and length were 5.67 and 5.03cm ，respectively.After 1O daysof acclimatization，the seedlingswere transplanted intothecompound substratecomposedofwoodshavingsandbarkchippngsata volumeratioof1：1，andthe survivalrate was 95% Key words：Dendrobium strongylanthum; capsule; protocorm; tissue culture seedlings
