Research on Voltage Sag Mitigation for Common DC Bus on the DC Side

Abstract: [Purposes] To address the issue of voltage sags in modern power systems,a voltage sag mitigation device on the DC side with acommon DC bus (Dynamic Voltage Restorer, DVR) was studied in depth.[Methods] The working principle of the device is elaborated,key points such as its hardware design and control strategy are analyzed,and the device's performance is verified through simulation experiments and practical cases.[Findings] Mitigating voltage sags on the DC side common DC bus requires a comprehensive approach involving hardware redundancy,intelligent control,and economic assessment. The targets of limiting the sag amplitude suppression to within 5% and achieving millisecondlevel response speed have been met; however,its robustness in complex scenarios and long-term economic viability still require further verification.[Conclusions] The research results indicate that the designed common DC bus voltage sag mitigation device can effectively suppress voltage sags,enhance power supply reliability,and provide strong support for the stable operation of the power supply system.
