Abstract： [Purposes] To analyze the application value of curtain grouting detection technology in the safety appraisal of dam impoundment.[Methods] The curtain grouting materials were selected scientifically，and the curtain grouting was tested by driling coring， water pressure test，single-hole acoustic wave，borehole acoustic CT，borehole panoramic digital imaging and other technologies to understand the actual situation of the project.[Findings] Curtain grouting technology can effectively judge the grouting effect and ensure that the dam seepage prevention meets the design requirements.At the same time， detection can help identify potential safety hazards，assist decision-makers in improving control over the dam's safety status，and ensure dam safety.[Conclusions] The application of water storage safety appraisal technology can provide help for technicians to judge the safety of dams，and the research results provide a reference for further expanding the application range of water storage safety appraisal technology.
