Study on the Monitoring of Force and Deformation During the Operation Period of the Main Shaft ofGuotun Coal Mine

Abstract: [Purposes] The coal mine shaft, as an important channel connecting the surface and underground,concerns the safety of transporting personnel,materials and equipment. With the increase in coal mining depth,the problems faced by the shaft become more complicated. Therefore,effective and realtime monitoring of shaft walldeformation and judgement of the safety status of the shaft wallbased on the monitoring data are important measures to ensure the safety of deep coal mining.[Methods] Taking the main shaft of Guotun Coal Mine in Juye Coalfield,Shandong as an example,based on the principle of vibrating string sensing test technology,long-term online monitoring was carried out on the force deformation of vertical shafts under the condition of thick topsoil and thin bedrock.The annular and vertical deformation of the shaft wall was analysed according to the monitoring results,and compared with the established early warning values at the same time,so as to assessthe safety status of the shaft. [Findings] The results show that the shaft walldeformation monitoring system can realize real-time monitoring and warning,with good stability.Themaximum circumferential strainand vertical strain of the shaft wall are both lowerthan theearly warning value of the shaft wall strain,indicating that the shaft wallis in a stable stage at present.[Conclusions] The research results have important reference value for the study of the deformation law of the shaft wall in the deep topsoil layer of the Juye Coalfield.
