Abstract: Antonio Gramsci, as one of the early key figures in Western Marxism, proposed the theory of cultural hegemony based on the concept of "civil society". As a systematic theoretical framework, cultural hegemony encompasses not only a dual interpretation of theoretical connotations and practical mechanisms, but also demonstrates an organic integration of political philosophy and the paradigm of cultural critique. Within this framework, philosophy of praxis constitutes the philosophical and logical premise of cultural hegemony; Civil society serves as the political platform of Gramsci' s theory of cultural hegemony and the primary battleground for ideological struggle. Gramsci's theory of cultural hegemony employs " war of position" as its core strategy,"organic intellctuals" as its agents, and the formation of a "collective wil" as its ultimate objective. This process aims to secure the "voluntary consent" of the masses toward the proletarian party, thereby establishing the cultural and moral legitimacy for politicalauthority. Rooted in the Marxist materialist conception of history,Gramsci's theory of cultural hegemony represents a creative advancement of classical Marxist theory, promoting a historic shift in the research paradigms of Western Marxist, opening up novel approaches in political philosophy analysis, and providing theoretical reference for ideological construction.
