Introduction， Selection， and Evaluation of Specialized Potato Varieties in Different Ecological Region of Gansu Province

Abstract：Torapidlyaddressthechallenge that the shortage ofprocessng-specializedandhigh-qualityfresh potato variety fails tomeetmarketdemand，andtofurthroptimizethepotatovarietystructureandregionallayoutinGansuProvinceforprooting high-qualitydevelopmentoftepotatoindustry22newlyintroducedpotatovarities（lines）wereevaluatedacross3ological regioninGansuProvince（early-maturingregioninsouth-centralGansu，irigatedregioninHexi，anddrylandregionincentral Gansu）.Thebjectivewastoidentifyspecializedpotatovarietysuitablefordiferentecologicalregion.Theesultsshowedthat7 potatovarietyWotu5，Juen1，Yunshu3O4，Lushu8，Lishu6，ingshu19，andTongshu31exhbitedhighyieldpotetialith significant yieldincreasesof 40.5% ， 29.0% ， 20.0% ， 87.5% ， 77.0% ， 63.2% ，and 45.0% respectively over the control variety Longshu 6.Thesevarietyalsopresentedatractivetubershape，excelentqualityandhighcommodityrate，makingthemsuitableforlargescaledemonstrationindiferentecologicalregionofGansuProvince.Amongthem，Wotu5andJiuen1arerecommendedasearlyto mid-maturing fresh-consumptionvarietyfordemonstrationintheearlymaturingregionofsouth-centralGansu；Yunshu 304is suitableasafrench-fryandchip-processingtypeintheiigatedregionofHexi;Lushu8andLishu6canserveaslate-maturing freshvegetable-usetype;Ningshu19andTongshu31canbepromotedaswhole-powderstaple-food-procesing typeinthedrylandregion of central Gansu.

马铃薯作为甘肃省三大粮食作物和八大特色优势产业之一，常年种植面积稳定在66.7万 hm2 以上，年产鲜薯1500万t左右，是主产区农民巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果和实施乡村振兴战略的优势产业，在全省农业和农村经济中占有重要地位[1-3]随着马铃薯产业的转型升级，潜在危机和瓶颈问题越来越突出，适应性强的加工专用型和鲜食品种缺乏、品种布局不尽合理、鲜薯的市场竞争力下降等问题，严重地制约了甘肃省马铃薯产业的高质量发展[4-5]。（剩余8772字）
