Breeding Report onthe New Hulless Barley Line Longke 2with CharacteristicsofDouble High in GrainandForageProduction

Abstract：Thedevelopmentof suitable huless barleyvarietyprovides strong support for the diversificationandgreen developmentofthebarleyindustry.UsingKunlun3asthefemaleparentandBai4O29asthemaleparent，theHullessBarley ResearchGroupof theIntuteofEconomicCropsandMaltingBarley，GansuAcademyofAgriculturalSciences，developedahbrid combinationandappliedtraditionalbreedingcombined withmodern biobreeding methodssuchasantherculture.Afteryearsofffseasongenerationadvancementbetweesouthernandnorthernregions，anewhiggrainandforagehulessbarleyline，Longke2， wasbred.Multi-yearandmulti-locationregionalexperimentsshowedthatLongke2hadanaverageequivalentgrainyieldof 5161.1 kg/ha， 9.56% higherthanthecontrolvarietyLongqing1.Itsaveragebiological yieldduringthefilingstagereached72270.3 kg/ha， （20号 43.73% higherthan thecontrolGansimai1.Thelineexhibitsexcellentyieldstabilityand highyieldpotential.Grainqualityis superior， containing 127.7 g/kg crude protein， 439.3 g/kg crude starch，and 28.3g/kg ether extract，levels of amino acid， β-glucan， andpolyphenolaresgnificantlyigerthantoseofcommonhullssarleyandcerealforage.Itissuitableforultivationille barley production areas at altitudes of 1 6OO to 2 80O m asl.
