Vibration Characteristic Research of a Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull

Abstract： The special structure characteristic and overall vibration speciality of small waterplane area twinhull ship（SWATH）aredescribed in the paper. With finite element method，overallvibration modecalculation was carried out，the overallvibrationcharacteristicofSWATHwas studied，alsothe vibrationperformanceofcriticalarea was studied，some meaningful results of SWATH overall vibration calculation andoverallvibration characteristic wereobtained asreferencesforsimilarcalculations.

船舶振动性能主要取决于船舶的固有总振动频率是否与激振力频率有足够的错开率及船舶重点区域在激励下的振动响应，振动性能对于船舶安全、船上人员工作及设备运行环境均有重要影响，是船舶的重要性能之一。（剩余4892字）
