Abstract：Cave6-11oftheYungangGrotoes，whichisalsoknownastheArhatHall，islocatedatopCave6atthesite.The caveisverylargeandcontainsacentralgroupingofstatuesthatincludesoneBuddha，twobodhisatvas，andtwodisciples.On theeastandwestwals therearecarvingsofapsarasandtheThousandBuddhas，whileonthenorth，eastandwestwalsthereare alsoremainsofsuspended statuesofarhats.Among thesestatues，thosedepictingtheBuddhas，bodhisattvas，apsarasandthe Thousand Buddhascanbe identifiedas havingbeencarved in the Northern Wei dynasty，when they wererenovated with new plasteringandcoloredwithpait.Therestofthestatuesareclayand werecreatedatlaterdates.Thiscave isunique inits structure andlayout，andtherenovationand adition ofnew statues notonlyprovides firsthand evidenceabout therenovation history ofthe site，butalsoreflects tegreatehistoricalchangesthatoccurrdattheYungangGotts.Fortesereasons，thiscaveisof historical value for studying the history and conservation ofthe Yungang Grotoes.
