Abstract：During thearchaeological excavationof the Taitaier Grotoes in2O22，debris was clearedoutfromatotalof 20 caves，rvealingarichcacheofarchaeologicalremains.Theculturalrelics foundatthesiteincluded：fragmental wallpaintings andstatues，poterywooditemsstoneware，bronzecoins，textiles，andariousarchitecturalcomponents，asellasalarge amountofanimalandplantremains.This excavationnotonlyconfirmedthelayoutandoverallscaleofthecave templecomplex， italsoelucidatedvariousdetailsoftegrotoessuchasthfoandcombinationoftecaves，swellasseveraldtailselating totheirconstructionandlatermodification.Finally，theresultsofthisarchaeologicalstudyhavealsocontributedtodating the caves and understanding the construction history of the Kizil Grottoes with a greater degree of acuracy.
