AbstractObjective：To translate the Hospitalfor Special SurgeryLumbar Spine Surgery Expectations Survey（HSS-LES into ChineseversionandtestitseliabilityandvlityMethds：TeBrislintranslationmodelasadoptedfortraslation，acktrasate， cross-culturalldjustandpretest，theChineseversionofteLumbarSpineSurgeryExpectationsSurveyasformed.FromJuly023to July2024，aconveniencesamplingmethodwasusedtoselect328patientsundergoing electivelumbarspinesurgeryintheSpine departmentofatertarygradeAgeneral hospitalin Guangdong provinceastheresearch subjects.TheChineseversionoftheLumbar SpineSurgeryExpectationsSurveywasusedfotheivestigationtotestitsreliabilityandvaliditylevelResults：TeChinesesionof theLumbarSpineSurgeryExpectationsSurveyicluded4dimensiosnd2items，ithtwotseingmutuallexclusieoctaly 20itemswereanswered.Exploratoryfactoranalysis extracted4commonfactors，withacumulativevariancecontributionrateof 68.050% ： TheCronbach'sαcoeficientofthesaleasO.917.ThesplithalfreliabilityasO.837.Theiem-evelcontntvalidityindexragedfrom 0.830to1.Ooo.Thesale-levelcontentvalidityindex/universalagreementwasO85O.Thesale-levelcontentvalidityindexaveragewas 0.975.Confirmatory factoranalysisresultsshowedagood modelfit.Conclusions：TheChineseversionoftheLumbar Spine Surgery Expectations Surveyhsgoodreliabilityandvalidity，andcouldbesuitableforevaluatingtheexpectationlevelsofpatients udergoing lumbar spine surgery.
