AbstractObjective：Toexploretheaplicationefectofnarrativeinterviews inmodifiedelectroconvulsivetherapyforpatientswith depresivedisordersMethods：Atotalof14Opatientswithdepresivedisorderswhounderwentmodifiedelectroconvulsivetherapyand admitedtoatertiarygradeAhospitalfromJauary2O21toSeptember2O23wereselectedastheresearchsubjects.heywererandomly divided intoobservationgroupandcontrolgroupbyrandomnumbertablemethod，7patientseach.Thecontrolgroupreceivedroutie nursingcare.Theobservationgroupreceived narativeinterviewsbasedontheroutinecare.HamiltonDepressionScale-17（HAMD-17） wasusedtocomparethedepresionstatusofthetwogroupsbeforeinterventionandat4and8weesafterinterventionResults：The controlgroupcompletedthestudywith63cases.Theobservationgroupcompletedthestudywith6lcases.Therewerestatisticaly significances in terms of time effect，between-group effect，and interaction effct of HAMD-17 scores（ P<0.05 ）.Conclusion：Narrative interviewscouldefectivelyimprove thedepressivemodofmodifiedelectroconulsiveterapyforpatentswithdepresivedisodersand enhance their treatment effect.
