Application of analgesia and sedation nursing based on eCASH concept in neurosurgical critically ill patients

AbstractObjective：Toexploretheapplicationefectofanalgesia andsedation nursingbasedoneCASHconcept inneurosurgical criticallyillptients.Methos：Apurposivesampngmetodasusedtoselect68patintsadmitdtoteeurosrgicalintesivecare unitfromJanuarytoDecember022asstudysubjects.Allcasesweredivided intocontrolgroupof33casesandtestgroupof35cases. Thecontrolgroupreceivedroutineanalgesicandsedativenursing，hilethetestgroupreceivedanalgesiaandsedationnursingbasedon theeCASHconeptheaalgesicandedativetreatmentefects，tracranialpreure，mechanicalventiltontime，rosrgical intensivecareunithospitaizationtimeandcost，usclestrengthrecovery，andincidenceofcomplicationsbetweenthetwogroupsof patients werecompared.Results：Afterintervention，thetestgrouppatientshadalowerdosageofanalgesicandsedativedrugs，horter recovery timeafterstoppngsedatives，shorterospitalizationtimeinmechanicalventilationandneurosurgeryitensivecareit，and lower incidence of complications/adverse events compared to that of the control groups patients （P<0.05） .Muscle strength recovery was better than that of the control group cases（ P<0.05， 0.The time to achieve sedative goals was longer than that of the control group patients 0 P<0.05 ）.Conclusions：BasedontheeCASHconceptaalgesiaand sedation nursingcould helpimprove theeffectivenessofanalgesia andsedationtreatmentfpatitsiteeurosugicalitesieareituctracraialprsue，ortemechanicaltad hospitalizationtimeinneurosurgical itensivecareunit.Itouldducetheoccurenceofomplications/adverseeventsandprootethe recovery of patients′muscle strength as well.
