AbstractObjectie：TotranslatetheCapacityforCompassonScale（CS）intoChinese，ndtotestitseliablitandvaidityeos： Acording toBrislintranslationmodel，theChineseversionofCCSwasformedthroughtranslation，backtranslationandultural debuging.FromDecember2O23toFebruary2O24，atotalof417medicalstafom2tertiarygradeAhospitalsinHenanprovince wereselectedforivestigationtoevaluatethereliabilityandvalidityof thescale.Results：TheChineseversionofCCSincluded4 dimensionsofmotivation/commitment，snseofpresence，universalhumanityandself-compasion，withatotalof17items.The scale-levelcontentvalidityindex（S-CVI）wasO.95OAndtheitem-levelcontentvalidityindex（I-CVI）rangedfromO.857to1.000. Exploratory factor analysis extracted 4 common factors.And the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 59.744% .Confirmatory factornalysisshowedthatallindexesofte modelwereintheacceptablerange.TeCronbach'scoeficentwasO.944.TheSpearanBrownhalfreliabilitywasO.856.AndtheretestreliabilitywasO.918.Conclusions：TheChineseversionofCCShasgoodreliabilityand validity.It could be used to evaluate the empathy ability of medical staff.
