Abstract:Low-temperatureplasma surface treatmenttechnology isanewtypeofsurface treatment technology thatcan be usedforsurface treatmentof various rubber materials,polymer compounds,nd solid rocket motorpropellant grains before bonding.The previous research ontheapplicationoflow-temperatureplasma surface treatmenttechnology wassummarized yinthe molding ofsolidrocket motorsandstudies thechanges inthebonding performanceof phenolic-modifiednitrilerubberafter plasma treatment.Thechanges were characterized inthesurface propertiesof nitrilerubber bythe changes in its surface wettabilityandtheelastic modulusandbonding performanceof nitrilerubber treated with different plasma parametersandplacedfordiferenttimes were tested,andwascompareswiththebondingstrengthofrubber treatedwithconcentratedsulfuricacidonthesurface tostudytheeffectofplasmasurfacetreatmentonthebonding performanceofnitrilerubber.Theresultsshowthatthesurface wettabilityofrubbertreatedwithplasmaissignificantlyimproved,andcansignificantlyimprove the surface properties of nitrile rubber,which is beneficial to bonding.
