Research on the manufacturing process of complex structure foam sandwich composites

Abstract：Thedimensional stabilityofthefoamcore，bondingdefects，anddimensionalcontrolofcomplex-structured foamsandwichcomposites werestudied inthepaper.Thestructuralcharacteristicsofthisproductwasanalyzedindetail，a seriesof experimentsoffoamcore stabilization were cariedout，andthe stabilizationsolution whichcanefectively enhancesteanti-deformationcapabilityofthefoamcorewasinvented.thefittatebetweenthebonded parts wereverified by using multiplepre-assemblyandverificationprocess.Thebonding fitofthoseparts hasbeen improvedbytrimming the bonding surfaces.Inorder toprotectthe product'sdimensionduringthe processofcuring，anauxiliarytoling was designed andmanufactured.Additionall，theeffcts ofdiferentcuring pressures were analyzedonbondingqualityandproduct'sdimensionthrough pressure experiment，and thecuring pressre parameters were ultimatelyoptimized.Basedontheabove research results，anexcellentmethodwas inventedformoldingcomplex-structured foamsandwichcomposites，andfinallyprepared sandwich composites with good bonding quality and stable dimensions.
