An Analysis of Empowering College Ideological and Political Curriculum through Short Videos under the OBE Concept

Abstract：The reform of ideological and political currculum in colleges has entered a critical period of the strategy of building a leading country ineducation.The reform and innovation of deepening ideological and political curriculum in the New Era requires the comprehensive integration of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into textbooks，coursesand students’minds.The effectiveness of this integration directly affcts the qualityof talent cultivation in universities and the practical outcomes of moral education.Under the guidance of the OBE（outcome-based education）concept，collges should incorporate short videos-an engaging format favored by students-into ideological and political curriculum.By empowering keycomponents of instruction including teaching subjects，instructional processes，and organizational mechanisms，this approach can strengthen the leading role of teachers，activate students'engagement，and make learning outcomes more visible and measurable.These strategies contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of ideological and political teaching.
