Research on the application of production-oriented approach theory in academic English teaching for postgraduate students in medical colleges

Abstract：AcademicEnglishliteracyisthekeyforpostgraduatestudentstokeeptrackof thefrontiersoftheirdisciplines， conductacademicresearch，participatein international dialogues，andenhance their internationalcompetitiveness.This paperadopts the methods ofquestionnairesurveyand interview，byrelyingonmodern informationtechnologyandteachers' digitaliteracy，itexplorestheteachingpracticeofacademicEnglish forpostgraduatestudents inmedicalcollegesunder production-oriented approach（POA）theory.Itorganically combines the learning and application of academic English knowledgeand skills.Theresultsof the teaching practice show that theacademic English teaching model basedon POAtheorycan effectivelyimprove students'comprehensiveacademic Englishabilities，and providesaneffectivepath forcultivating interdisciplinaryinternational medical talentswithgoodacademicEnglishcommunicationskilsanda global perspective.
