Abstract：Remimazolam isashort-acting，controllable benzodiazepinedrug that has beenwidelyutilized invarious short-termsurgeriesanddiagnostic procedures.However，duetoitsrelativelyrecentmarketintroduction，itsapplication inbronchoscopyeminslimited，ndcliicalexperienceofuseisstillscare.Tisarticlesthesiesaserisofical studies bydomesticand international scholars，providingacomprehensivereviewonmultiple aspects，including the comparisonofremimazolam withother commonlyusedsedatives，itsadversereactions，itsuse in elderlypatients，and its combination with newtechnologies.Literaturereviewresults indicate thattheadvantages ofremimazolam includerapid onsetandofset，absenceofdrug accumulation，minimal residualsedative effects post-procedure，negligible impacton liverandkidney function，almost no injectionpain，relativelymildadversereactions，minimal influenceonrespiration andcirculation，andtheavailabilityofaspecificantagonist.Additionally，therecommended dosageofremimazolam requiresindividualizedadjustment，particularlyforelderlypatients.Thecombinedapplicationofremimazolamwithvarious newtechnologiesholds promiseforenhancing theconvenienceand safetyofbronchoscopic diagnosis andtreatment.These findingssuggestthatremimazolamcansignificantlyimprovethesafetyandeficacyof sedationduring bronchoscopic procedures，demonstrating promising application prospects and developmental potential.
