Abstract:Inorder tostudythetorsional bearingcapacityofcircular multi-cavityholowconcrete flledsteel tubularcolumns, thetorsional bearingcapacityof24column modelswithaxialcompresionratioandsection formasbasic parametersunder uniaxialandreciprocatingloading isanalyzd.Theresultsshowthattheconcrete filedcircularmulti-cavityhollowsteltube modelhasstronger torsionalbearingcapacity thantheconcretefilledcircularholowsteltube model Whentheaxialcompresion ratio≤0.4,the modelof circularfour-cavity hollow sandwichconcrete filedsteetubecolumnsunderuniaxialloading has remarkabletorsionresistance,concrete flled hollow steeltubularcolumns with circularsix cavities havegood torsionalcapacity and ductility under axial compression ratio of 0 ~ 0 . 6 ,the torsional bearing capacity of the circular multi-cavity hollow concrete filed tel tubecolumnmodelunderreciprocatingloadingislargerthanthatofthecrcularhollowconceteflledsteelubemodel.
