Research on species composition and soil characteristics of ecological public welfare forest monitoring sample plots in Anxi Banlin State-owned Forest Farm

AbstractThis study took the 1hm2 public welfare forest monitoring sample plot in Shuiyang Work Area of Anxi Banlin State-owned Forest Farm,Fujian Province as theresearch object,and investigated its species composition, relativeabundance,relativefrequencyrelative significance,etc.,as wellas soil characteristics.Theresultsshowedthat intermsof speciescomposition,there were 51species inthe tree layer,totaling2839 plants.Euryanitida was the dominant species in this area.There were 6104 shrubs with diameters ranging from1 to5cm,and2483 shrubs with a diameter less than 1 cm. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index ( H′ ) and Pielou evenness index (J) of this type were 3.62 and O.81, respectively. The H′ and J of the shrub layer were 3.56 and O.82 respectively; the total number of plants in the herbaceous layer was5594,andtheir H'andJwere2.89andO.75respectively.Intermsofsoil characteristics,the pH of this sample plot was 8.19,showing weak alkalinity,with unbalanced nutrients anda loose and well-permeable physical structure.Insummary,The species diversityof the tree layerinthis forestfarm sample plot wasrichand the distribution was relatively uniform,the shrub layer was rich inspecies and hadalarge number,and the herbaceous layer hadarelatively high coverage.Thisarticle providesareferenceforthe protectionand managementof public welfare forests in this area, the maintenance of species diversity and soil improvement.
