High quality and high effciency development of the rice industry in Anhui Province

AbstractAnin-depthanalysisof thecurrent development statusof thericeindustryinAnhuiProvince was conducted,keychallengeswereidentified,andargetedrecommendationswereproposed.InAnuiProvince,theown areaofriceremained stable,with gradual increases observed in both yield perunit areaandtotaloutput.Regional distribution was progressivelyoptimized,and continuous improvements were made in planting paternsand variety structure.Technological support was strengthened,leading tosignificantadvancements in production techniques.The riceindustrychain was furtherrefined，and initial progress wasachievedinbrand development.Keychalenges requiring atention included production infrastructure,scientificand technological support,therice industrychain,and profitabilityof rice cultivation.Basedon the findings,the folowing recommendations were proposed: infrastructure developmentandrisk management wereenhanced throughtheconstruction of high-standard farmlandand the establishmentofan intelligent meteorologicaldisaster monitoring system;technological integrationandpromotion were acceleratedbyapplying green,highquality，and eficient techniquessuch as side-deep fertilization，green pest control,and integratedrice farming；full-industrychainintegration was promoted through contract farming,deep processing，and brand building to enhance product value;new quality productive forces in rice production were fosteredbyadvancingresearch inbiotechnologybreeding,inteligentagricultural machinery，and smartfarming technologies；buildinga diversifiedand complementary modern agricultural technology promotionand socialized servicesystem.Thisstudy provided references forpromoting highqualityand higheficientdevelopmentof the rice industry in Anhui Province.
