Analysis of differences in farmers’land quality protection behavior under thebackgroundoffood security

AbstractBased on the actual surveydataof477 farmers in three survey areas（A，BandC），Logistic regression model wasused toanalyzethediferenesand influencing factorsoffarmers’land qualityprotectionbehavior.The surveyanalysis revealed that farmers’awarenessoffarmland protection is multi dimensionaland multi faceted.Farmers in areasBandChavea higher awarenessoffarmland quality protection，while farmers inarea Ahavearelatively lower awarenessoffarmland quality protection.Toacertain extent，thelarger thearea of arable landownedbyfarmers，the higher theirenthusiasmforprotection.Farmers inarea Bhaveastrongerwillngness toprotectthequalityofarableland， whilefarmers inarea A havealower willngnessto protect thequalityof arable land.Area Cisata moderate level； farmers ineach surveyareahavetaken measures to protectthequalityoffarmland，suchasreturningstraw to thefield， deep loosening the land，and applying farmyard manure； some farmers have inconsistent perceptions and behaviors regarding farmland protection.Basedon these findings，strategiessuch as the promotionof landprotection policies， improvementof theinstitutional framework forprotection，encouragementoffarmers’participation，strengthening of landresource management and planning，and enhancement of farmers’awareness andskills in cultivated land protection are proposed. These measures are aimed at safeguarding cultivated land and providing references for the promotion of sustainable agricultural development.
