Abstract：Thepowerdiscourse theoryofFrenchphilosopher Michel Foucault proposes thatintranslation，thedialogicnatureof discourse isnolongerthcore，butratherfocusesonthefor，originandcontrolingsubjectofdiscourse.Culturaldiferencs may leadtoexcesiveanddficienttranslationsintranslationwheretranslatorsmayincreaseordecreaseinformationtocompensatefor culturaldiferences.Thediscouseofpowerhasasignificantimpactonthesetwotranslationphenomenaintermsofulturalbackgroundshaping，traslatorsubjecivityexpresiondpersoalmotioalivesentTraslatorsreostraidbyothsoaloer discourseandpersonalpowerdiscourse，andneed toseekabalancebetweenthem.Theauthorusesthetranslationworksof twogreat translators，XuYuanchongandHuPining，sexamplestonaletheeasonsandexpresiveefctsofexesiveanddeficettranslations.Intecontextofowediscosetranlationactiisareteeshapigadiovationofteoiginaltext，andtasio searchshoulddelveintotheculturaltranslationlevel，payingattention tosocialandculturalcontextsandpowerdynamics.Future translationresearchshouldpaymoreatentiontothesocioculturalcontextandpowerdynamicsbehindtranslationehavior，inorder to promote deeper cross-cultural communication and understanding.
