Abstract： 【Objective】To comprehensively understand the progress and hotspots in walnut research.【Method】This studyanalyzedtheliteraturefrom2014 to2O24collcted fromCNKIand WoSdatabases.Using bibliometric analysis and CiteSpace tools，thestudyvisualizes thepublication trends，authors，institutions，joumals，highlycitedarticles， andresearch hotspotsand trends in domesticand international walnut research.【Result】Inthepast three years，the number of publications on walnut research has stabilized，with most highlycited articles beingreview papers.Walnut research has shown a trend of diversification and in-depth development. Domestic scholars mainly focus on research related to mountain walnuts，walnutprocesing，and walnut quality，while international scholars emphasize theresource utilization of walnuts and their nutritional valueand health benefits.Walnut research has graduallshifted from studies onbasiccharacteristicsandagricultural productiontotheuseof modern biotechnologyinbreedingandexploring the health benefitsof walnuts，further advancing into the fieldsofnutritionand food science.Atthe same time，research on theresourceutilization of walnut waste and its applications in ecological and environmental protection continues. 【Conclusion】 In the future， walnut research will strengthen the development of deep processing technologies， extend the industrial chainand enhance economic value and market competitiveness，whilecontinuing to deepen the development and application of walnut nutritional components，especially in functional foods and health products.With the advancement of artificial intelligence，machinelearning willplay anincreasingly important role inboth walnut research and its industrialization process.
