Abstract：Inorder to breed varieties withhighand stable yield and strong stressresistance，and to provide some improved varieties support forthe sustainable developmentof the Camellia reticulata，some elite trees were finally selectedaccording tothe standardsand steps of elite tre selection.Avariety comparisonand determination forest was established with theclonalseedlingsof the327 finallyselected elite trees.Theeconomic traitsofeach clone in the determination forest were measuredand evaluated continuously for more than ten years.Five new varieties，namely ‘Shuangjiangshuoguo’，‘Baoyou9'，‘Baoyou 10∘ ，‘Baoyou1l'and‘Baoyou 12∘ ，which had excellent economic traits offruits，obviousandeasilyidentifiablespecific traits，and highconsistencyand goodstabilitywere screenedand cultivatedfrom327clones.Thefiveclones wereauthorizedasnewplantvarietiesbytheNationalForestryandGrasand Administration in 2024，and have now been popularized and applied in Tengchong City and Longling County.
