Abstract:【Objective】To analyze the phenotypic diversityof65plum germplasmresources collcted and preserved in Xinjiang,and screen out specific or excellent plum germplasm materials.【Method】 Taking European plum, ChineseplumandPrunussalicina×armeniacaasexperimentalmaterials,through investigatingthephenologicalperiod, determining thephenotypic traitsand fruitquality,the diversityanalysisof thephenological periodand phenotypic traits of the tested plum germplasm resources and the comprehensive evaluation of important traits were conducted byusing methods such as coefficient of variationanalysis,membership functionanalysis,correlationanalysis,cluster analysis and principal component analysis.【Result】The compositevariation coeffcient of phenological periods was (204号 15.64% to 104.49% .The initial flowering time sequence groups were divided into four major groups.Among them, P.salicinaxarmeniaca and plum resources allbelong to the early flowering and middle flowering groups.Chinese plumLT1417belongs to the late floweringresource,and among European plums,No.1 Uzigan and MY-O2013-2 were extremely late foweringresources.The diversity index of quality traits was 0.078-1.466,thecomposite variation coefficient of quantitative traits was 1.56%-231.71% ,and the membership function valueswere 0.434-0.584.There was a wide corelation among important traits. Cluster analysis divided the 65 materials into 4 groups.Principal component analysis extracted a total of 4 principal components,with acumulative contribution rate of 74.031% ,including the characteristicsoffruitsize,fruitfimess,aturalfruitsetingatefruitdevelopmentperiodfloweringduration,mass fractionofsoluble solids,mass ratioof vitamin C,massfractionofsolublesugarandmass fractionof itratableacidof plums espectively.Through comprehensiveevaluation indicators,6plum germplasmresources withspecificorexcelent comprehensive traits were screenedout,namelyongliO1,President,Weihou,Dongli O2,inosaurEggandZaosu 2241.【Conclusion】The genetic variation of 65 plum germplasm resources is relativelyrich.Through comprehensive trait evaluation,6 plum germplasmresources with excelent comprehensive traits werescreenedout,providing ascientific basis for the utilizationand breeding of plum germplasm in Xinjiang region.
