ABSTRACT: Inorder to make effective useof Paeoniasuffruticosa Andr.(peony)seed meal resources,theantioxidant activities,anticholinesteraseactivities and antibacterial activitiesofdiferent extracts of peony seed meal werecompared andstudied in vitro.Theactivecomponentsof peonyseed meal were analyzed byliquid chromatographymasspectrometry(LCMS),and theactivecomponents and potential target proteins wereanalyzed by molecular docking technology.Theresults showed that the total phenol contents of 70% methanol extract of peony seed meal was the highest [(159.50±4.29)mg⋅g-1] ,and its antioxidant,anticholinesteraseandantibacterialactivitieswerethestrongestinvitro.LC-MSanalysis showed thatthe main active components of 70% methanol extract of peony seed meal were paeoniflorin, suffruticosol A,suffruticosol B, suffruticosol C and ε viniferin. Molecular docking results showed that the active components of peony seed meal had good binding ability to various anti-oxidation and anti-aging target proteins,among which ε -viniferin had the strongest binding ability. The results indicated that the 70% methanol extract of peony seed meal had the highest antioxidant,anti-aging and antibacterial activities,which were mainly related to the active components of polyphenols oligostilbene.
