Dynamic response and stabilityanalysis of three typical diesteel materialsunder dynamic load

Abstract:In order to study the wear resistance and other performance change laws of molds under complex working conditions,three mold steels,LD1, 65Nb and Crl2MoV,were used as research objects to analyze their dynamic response and stability under dynamic loads,so as to provide a basis for the optimization selection of mold materials. Various methods were used,including impact wear test, retained austenite measurement, carbide content analysis, and dynamic mechanical response test. The results show that 65Nb steel exhibits the best load-bearing capacity and crack resistance under dynamic loads,with a tensile strength of 2300MPa and a fracture toughness of 52MPa⋅m1/2 ; while LDl steel has good plasticity under lighter loads,and its elongation after fracture can reach 9.88% . By analyzing the mechanical response behavior and wear characteristics of mold steel, it is found that the control of carbide content and retained austenite has a significant effect on the performance of mold steel,which provides theoretical support for the material selection and optimization of molds under different dynamic working conditions.
