Abstract:ThisstudyproposesaLiDAR-basedmethodformonitoringforestcarbonsinksinforestedareastoachieveaccurateestimationanddyamiconitongofforestcarbosoragendtoprovideientificasisforteeasurementessmentndaag mentofforestcarbonsinks.LiDARdatawerecollctedusing theRieglLMS-Q56O system.Pointclouddata weresegmentedusingan adaptivetriangularalgoritm,hiletreediameteratbreastheight(DBH)andtreeheightwerecalculatedusingcylindricalfitingmet od.Forestcarbonsinktotalswerethenderivedbasedoncarboncontentratesadindividualtreebiomass.Extensivefeldmoitoingand analysisntheudyearevealedaterageandgeanopylosure,domnantreeaverageBoilharacteristics,oed precipitationarekeyfactorsinfuencingforestcarbonsinks.Naturalforestseibitedsignificantlyhighercarbonsinkcapacitisthanplantations.Aditionallyarmature,mature,ndoermatureforestsaccountedforthemajoityofcarbonsequestrationieforest ecosystem,withoak,hard broadleaf,andsoft broadleaf species contributing the highest carbon sink amounts.
