Abstract:The Inconel 625 nickel based aloywasdepositedon 3OCrMo steel substrate using hot wire TIGwelding proce. Theeffectsofdiferentpreheating temperaturesonthemicrostructureandpropertiesofdepositedjointandlayerwerenalyzed andcompared,through whichareasonable hotwireTIG welding process wasdetermined.Itisfoundthat Inconel625 nickel basedally presents goodbonding with3OCrMo steelbasematerial,andthereareno welding defects.The preheating temperaturehasslightefectontheformationmorphology,corosionresistance,andjointbendingperformanceof theoverlylayer.The bending performanceof thebasemetal jointisgoodatalltemperatures,andthereisnocrackingphenomeno.Howeverithas asignificantimpactonthehardnessoftheheataffectedzoneandthefusionratiooftheoverlylayer.Themicrostructureofeach temperatureoverlylayerisdendriticaustenite,transioningfrominsidetoouterintocellar,columnar,dendritic,andequiaxed crystals.Aftersurfacing,themainelementssuchasFe,Ni,Cr,Mo,andNbaredistributedregularlyinthebasemetal, heataffctedzone,andsurfacinglayer.ThereissegregationofMoandNbelementsbetweendendrites.Consideringthe welding efficiency,dilution rate,and performance of the welding specimen,preheating 200 C before welding is the best.
