Abstract:To acurately predict the water hammer pressur fluctuations insubsea multiphase mixed transportationpipelines, the waterhammer pressure characteristics were studied insubsea mixed transportationpipelines under diferentvalve closing conditions,basedona mixed transportationloop water hammer experimental system.Theresults showthat,at thesame flow rate,the water hammer peak pressre inoil-water mixed pipelines is lowerthan that in water pipelines,andoil-water mixed flow hasa suppressiveefect on liquid column separation.The presenceof gasflow has asignificant bufering effecton water hammer pressure fluctuations. When the gas-liquid ratio exceeds 2.65% ,the water hammer phenomenon becomes negligible.Basedon these findings,acalculationmodel for water hammer pressure inbothoil-waterandgas-liquid two-phase flows is developed and verified through experimental conditions with high calculation accuracy.
