Abstract:By introducing themicrofaciesplanardistribution into the3Dsandbodyarchitecture modeling process with1Dwel data,a3D sandbody architecture modeling method constrained by the microfacies planar distribution was proposed.Taking singlesandbodiesofdiferent microfacies types asthe modelingobjects,themicrofacies planardistribution toconstraithe planardistributionrange and morphological characteristics of each individualsandbodywas introduced,andthe3D sandbody architecture modelwas established byidentifying thetopand botommicrostructural surfacesof thesandbody withinthe planardistributionrange.The mathematical model wasemployed tooptimize the microstructural surfaces of individual sandbodies,andthesuperpositionrelationship wasutilized tooptimizethecontactrelationshipbetwensandbodies.Theresults indicatethat the method can wellcharacterize diferent microfacies typesof single sandbodies,and exhibitsignificantadvantages in portraying thecomplex morphological characteristicsofsandbodies.Itcan eficientlydepictthecomplex plane geometric shapesofsinglesandbodiesofvarying microfacies types,appropriatelyreflectthecross-sectional morphologicalcharacteristics of individual sandbodies,andreasonablyrepresentthecomplexcontactrelationships between diferentarchitectureunits.
