Abstract:Thediagenetic processes of volcanicrocks difer markedlyfromthoseof clasticrocks.The Mesozoic volcanic rocks inthe Zhanxi areaunderwentmulti-phasediageneticevolutioninvolving tectonic,magmatic,and hydrothermal interactions. Basedonstructuralanalysis,hydrothermalfllingcharacteristics,anddiageneticmineralidentification,thediageneticsequence of these volcanicrocks was reconstructed.During the Yanshanian NW-trending compresion along the TanshuFault Zone,intense volcanic eruptions formedacomplex dominated bydense blocky basalt and porphyriticandesite.Follwig solidification,thevolcanicrocks experiencedtwo stagesof hydrothermalactivityandoestageof hydrocarbon-induceddisolutionand filing.Thereservoirpropertiesoftheselithologiesvarysignificantlydueto theircontrastingdiageneticpathways. Andesiteunderentasequenceofzeolitefillng-caleiteprecipitation-chloritization-ferocalcitereplacement;basaltexperiencedchloritization-silieous filing-ferrodolomiteprecipitation;andvolcanicbreccia followedclasticaccumulation-chlorite lining-ferrodolomitecementation.Scoria porosityandpermeabilitydecreasedmarkedlyduetocementatio,whereasbasaltretainedrelativelyhighpermeabilitydespiteprimaryporosityloss,andandesiteexibitedminimalreservoiralteration.Nearthe ZhananFault,thebasalt fracture systemservesasamigrationpathwayforhydrocarbons,whiledissolutioncavitiesinandesite provide storage space.Scoria'spoor reservoir qualityresults from hydrothermal cementation,whereas thecompositezoneof basaltic fractures and andesitic alteration forms a favorable hydrocarbon enrichment area.
