Abstract:Metabolicreprogrammingisaprerequisiteandimportantmarkerformacrophagephenotypic transition,anddierent macrophage phenotypesare involvedinthepathogenesisofacute-on-chronic liverfailure(ACLF)byregulating thebalanceof inflammatoryresponses,therebybecomingthepotentialtargetsforACLFtreatment.Thisarticlefocusesonthechangesin macrophage metabolicreprogrammingduringACLFand itsmechanism in mediating ACLF severityandprognosis byregulating energymetabolismandimmuneinflammation,inorder toprovidenewideasanddirections fordeveloping preventionandcontrol strategies for ACLF based on macrophage metabolic reprogramming.
