Abstract：In2O25，ExpertCommiteeoftheClinicalLaboratoryAlliance，NationalCenterforInfectiousDiseases，organized relatedexperts todevelopExpertconsensusonthedetectionandclinicalaplicationof hepatitisCvirus markers（2O25edition）. ThisconsensusoutlinestheobjectivesforhepatitisCpreventionandcontrol，dentifistargetpopulationsfortesting，ndprovides guidanceonbiomarkers，testing methods，andsampletransportation.Italsoproposesoptimized testing strategiestailored tothe epidemiological characteristicsofhepatitisCin Chinaandthespecificfeaturesof itsdiagnosticmarkers.Thefocusof this consensusistoadresstheshortcomingsoftraditionaldetectionmethods，suchasprolongedwindowperiodsandmissddiagnoses inimmunocompromisedpopulations，therebyimprovingthedetectionateofhepatitisC.Theconsensus isofgreatimportancefor eliminatingthepublichealthtreatofviralhepatisinChina.Thisarticleprovidesaninterpretationoftheconsensus，inoderto provide clearer practical guidance for the clinical testing of hepatitis C.
