Abstract The new quality productivityof agriculture has a significant promoting effectonthe integration of urban and ruralareas inregions.Basedonthedata ofagricultural and rural development in Anhui Province from 2O10 to 2023，an index system for measuring thenew quality productivityof agriculture andthe degree ofurban-rural integration was constructed.The promoting effects of four dimensions，namely technological progress，structural optimization， management innovation，and ecological benefitimprovement，onthe formation ofnewqualityproductivityofagriculture and theenhancementof the degree of urban-rural integration are analyzed.Researchhas found that thenew quality productivityof agriculture（with scientificand technological innovationasthecore driving force）hasa significant positive effect onenhancing thedegreeof urban-rural integrationinAnhui Province.Technological upgrading， industrial structure optimization，management model innovationandecological benefit improvement have playedan important role in promoting the formation of newquality productive forces of Anhui's characteristic agriculture.The analysis results based on the field research data further verified the reliability of the above conclusion.
