Abstract To explore thechangingtrends ofagronomic traitsofdaylilygrowth atdiferent planting years，and to provide abasis forhigh-yieldand high-qualitycultivation management，taking the6-year-old，7-year-old，8-year-oldand9- year-old'Dawuzui'daylily flowers from Daba Village，Hui'anpu Town，Yanchi Countyas materials，the shape indicators offlowerbudsduring thefullbloomperiod，the growth indicatorsof plantsandtheanti-lodging indicatorsof flowerstalkswere investigated.Theresultsshowthatthefresh weightandlengthof singlebudsofdaylilyfrom6to8 years old were increasing year by year，with the 8-year ones being the largest and the9-year ones beginning to decrease. The planting years had no significant effect on the plant height of daylily （ P>0.05 ），but the flower stalks of 8- year-old daylilywere significantly higher than those of other treatments （ P<0.05 ）. The number of bolting per unit area andthe numberof single-bolted lateral branches did not change significantlywith the increase of planting years （ P> 0.05），but the numberofsingle-bolted flower buds decreasedyearbyyear.The puncture strengthand breakingforceof theflower stalksof 8-year-olddaylily were both strongerthan thoseofothertreatments，and ithadagood resistance to bending.Takingall the indicators intoaccount，the8-year-olddaylilyplantsareinthebestcondition.However，as the years of cultivation increase，only more refined management can produce higher economic benefits.
