Abstract Toclarifythe types and distributionof plant diseases in the grasslandsof Ningxia，from 2O22 to2O23，field investigationand standard plotinvestigation methods wererespectivelyadoptedto investigate the typesand distribution of plant diseases inthe grassandsofNingxia，andthecorrelations betweendiffrent typesand incidencerates of plant diseases and altitude as wellas vegetationcoverage were analyzed.Theresults show that there are atotal of 131types of plant diseases inthegrasslandofNingxia，mainlyleaf spot disease，which ismainlydistributed inthetemperate desert grassand.The types and incidence rates of grassand plant diseases were significantly positivelycorrelated with the altitude gradient and the vegetation coverage gradient （ P<0.05 ）. The types and incidence rates of grassland plant diseases showed a gradually increasing trend with the rise of altitude gradient and vegetation coverage.Therefore， conducting asurveyonthe types and distribution of plant diseases inthe grassandsof Ningxia providesbasicdata for understanding theoccurrence of plantdiseases inthegrasslandsof Ningxiaandfor effective monitoring and prevention.
