Abstract Lycium barbarum,asa plant with richmedicinal value,itspolysaccharidecontent isanimportantindicator for measuring its quality.Traditional detection has problems such as complex procedures,high costs,long time and large losses.However,hyperspectral technology has the advantages of non-destructive,rapid and accurate detectionof the polysaccharide content in Lycium barbarum,and has broad application prospects.The principle and advantages of hyperspectral technologyareintroduced;The applicationresearch of hyperspectral technologyin the detectionof Lycium barbarum polysaccharidecontent inrecent years issummarizedandanalyzed,including dataacquisition, spectral preprocessng,modeling methods and model verification,etc.The current problemsand future development trends inthis fieldarediscussed,iming toprovidetheoreticalreferences and technical supportfortherapidandnondestructive detection of polysaccharide content in Lycium barbarum.
