Abstract：Tea plantcultivationinShennongjia forest districthasalong history.Whilethetea industryinthe forestarea has been developing steadily in recent years，it also faces a series of problems and challenges.Based onan in-depth investigationoftheteaindustryinShennongjiaforest district，thisarticlesystematicallyanalyzed itscurrent development status，which is mainlycharacterized bya lack of scientific management oftea gardens，unexplored wild tearesources， lowlevelsofstandardizedproduction，insuficientscientificandtechnologicalinovationabilityandlowomprehensive economic benefits，etc.Furthermore，countermeasuresand suggestions such as optimizing tea garden management， protectingand utilizing wild tea resources，improving the production system，increasing investment in science and technology，and extending the industrialchainwere proposed，inthe hopeof promotingthehealthydevelopmentof the teaindustryin Shennongjia Forest District.
