Breeding Research of Floral Aroma Tea Cultivar'Guilii 2'

Abstract: In order to meet the development needs of the mountain characteristics tea industry,excellent individual plants were selected from the localpopulation of'Guiding Yangwang Tea'in Guizhou Province.Through systematic breeding,the new tea cultivar'Guilui 2'was developed.The results of the cultivar comparison show that the green tea made from spring one budand two leaves hasa fresh and distinct floral aromaanda sweet,refreshing taste.Its Water-soluble extract content is 50.90% ,aminoacid content is 4.20% ,teapolyphenol contentis 19.82% ,caffeine content is 2.37% ,and the phenol-to-amine ratio is 4.72.It can be cultivated in Qiannan Prefecture and Zunyi City of Guizhou Province,as wellas in areas with similar climates.
