The serum creatinine（SCrndeirogUinousreigrtoseeratiodteafiatioate）as lowerthantatforeeratioutteCndUineriealopreloerantoeitotroloupndtGRas than that in the control group .The levels of C-reactive protein （CRP），tumor necrosis factor- ？？ αα （TNF-α） and interleukin-6 （IL-6） in the two groups were higherthanthose before operation，butthose intheexperimentalgroup werelower thanthecontrol group（ .The RRI of the two groups washigherthanthatbeforeoperation，butthatoftheexperimental groupwaslowerthanthatofthecontrolgroup .After 3 months of follow-up，therewasnosignificantdiferenceintheincidenceofadversecardiaceventsbetweentheexperimentalgroup 1 . 9 9 % ）and the control group （ 2 . 9 9 % ） （ P>0 . 0 5 ） .Conclusion Shexiang TongxindroppngpillsiseffectiveinpreventingCI-AKIcausedbycontrastagentaftercardiac catheterization，which can inhibit inflammatory reaction，reduce renal injury and the incidence of CI-AKI.
