【Abstract】ObjectiveTo systematically analyze and reveal the research hotspotsand trends in teaching methods of otorhinolaryngologyandheadandneck surgeryinrecentyears byusing bibliometric methods，soastoprovidereferences for theinnovationof teaching methods.MethodsRetrieverelevantliteratureonotorhinolaryngologyandheadandneck surgery teaching betweenJanuary1，1994andAugust 31，2O24 fromdatabasessuchas the China National Knowledge Infrastructure （CNKI），Wanfang，andVIPweresearched.Excel2O19wasusedtoconductadescriptiveanalysisof thebasicinformation of the screened literature（annualpublicationvolume），VOSviewerwasemployed forthevisualizationanalysisof keyord co-ocurrence，CiteSpace software was used forthe visualization analysis of keyword clustering and bursts，and corresponding mapswasdrawn.ResultsAtotalof1523articleswereincluded.Inadditiontothekeywords"otorhinolaryngology，otolaryngology，andotorhinolaryngologyandheadandnecksurgery"，theothermainkeywordsthatappearedmostfrequently includedteaching，problem-based learning（PBL）teaching method，case-based learning（CBL）teaching method，clinical teaching，teaching methods，teachingreform，multimedia，medicaleducation，clinical instruction，andclinicalclerkship.ConclusionThediversityand integrationofteaching methods inotorhinolaryngologyandheadandneck surgeryarehotspots andtrends inresearch.Itisnecessrytocontinuouslypromotetheinnovationanddevelopmentof teachingmethodsfrom severalaspects，suchas balancing theoretical teaching with practice，optimizingthealocationofresources，strengthening interdisciplinaryteachingandcooperation，andfocusingonstudents‘independentleamingandthecultivationoftheirinovative abilities，so as to lay a solid foundation for training high-quality medical professionals.
