Development of Wetland Monitoring and Assessment System for the Qinghai Section of Qilian Mountain National Park

Abstract:As a crucial ecological barierand biodiversitytreasure inNorthwest China,thewetland ecosystemof Qilian MountainNationalParkplaysanirrplaceableroleinmaintainingregionalecologicalbalance,safeguarding waterresource securityandpromotigclmatergulationTosienticallndectivelyprotectadmanagethetlandesourcesofQiln Mountain National Park,this studytakes the Qinghai Sectionof Qilian Mountain NationalPark asa demonstration area and developsan integrated wetlandmonitoringandassessmentsystem.Thesystem integratesmultiple technologicalapproaches includingremotesensing monitoring,dataanalysisandvisualization,ealizingcomprehensive,real-timeandprecise moitoring ofthe wetland ecosystem in the Qinghai Sectionof Qilian Mountain National Parkand providing strong support for ecological conservation, scientific research and education,and decision-making.
