Research on influencing factors of leadership behavior for local coaches in China's football, basketball, volleyball at the team layer

Abstract: A mixed research method combining qualitative analysis and quantitative research was adopted, including in-depth interviews,Colaizzi seven step analysis,and scale testing.The study is to investigate the influencing factorsofleadershipehaviorofocaloachsinina'sfootballbasketball,olleyballattheamlevel,dalso to analyze their composition, measurement,and effectivenessin influencing coach leadership behavior.The sample covers various levelsofsports teams in China,including professional teams,youth teams,and high-leveluniversity teams.Among them,326 athletes were initialltested and1O71 were retestedlater.Theresearchholds that: (1)The influencing factors of leadershipbehaviorof local coaches in China's football，basketball,volleyball atthe team level cover five dimensions such as organizational empowerment,master-apprentice relationships,team goals, power distance,and team atmosphere,reflecting the characteristics of Chinese culture and sports events. (2)The five influencing factorsof measurement scale for the leadership behavior oflocal coaches in the football,basketball, voleyball inChinadevelopedatthe teamlevel,containsatotalof15measurement itemsandalsohas higher reliability and validity. (3)The influencing factors from team level have strong explanatory power for the leadership behaviorof local coachesin China's football,basketball,volleyball.
