Virtual sports： Natural reinterpretation and valuable reflection on sports during the digital epoch

Abstract：Positive policy guidance and the rapidly expanding industrial scale have made virtual sports to be a noteworthy new concept and problem domain in the sports field in recent years.This study takes the competition formatand content performance in virtual sports events as the starting point，gradually exploring the nature，value， and trends of virtual sports.The study suggests that the connotation of virtual sports is primarily manifested in the virtualizationofcompetitive spaceandcompetitivebehavior，anditsnature lies inthedigital presentationof sports based ondata.Theformationof digitalsports isreal experiencerather than falseillusion，andisderivativeof sports contents rather than alternatives，and its value focusing on expansion of understanding dimensions and audience scope of sports.Driven bythe digital technology，virtual sports willfocus more onenhancingthe immersion and personalized development of participation experiences in the future， which not only provides a positive entry point forthe developmentofe-sports inthe sports field，but also ofers adriving force forschool sportsand mass sports.
