Abstract：Inresponsetohecurrentneedforigqualitydevelopmentinhetobacoindustry，toexploreheimpactofiret packagingmethodsonqualityinicatorssuchasmosturecontent，reakage，rehydrationandleafmoistenngefect，andipuiisf tobaccoleaves，totyesofpackagingaterials，amelyjutebgpackagingandhrdaterialpackagingereusedasttateals toprovideguidanceandreferencefortheselectionandapplicationofrawtobacopackagingandstoragemethods.Theresultsshowed that the breakage ratio of tobacco leaves in the box packaging was 77 % lower than that in the jute bag packaging，which could effectively reduce the breakage of tobacco leaves by more than 1% during the transportation process.After moisture regaining treatment， the tobacoleafbreakageratealsosignificantlydecreased.Intermsofwaterretentionduringstorage，thetobacoboxpackagingmodehad weakerwaterretentioncapacityhanhempsheetpackaging，buttheiskofmoldduringstoragewasalsoreduced.Intermsofmoistening ffect，te moistenngefectofteboxasbeter，andteehydrationpenetrationrateundervacumrehydrationwashigreacing 98 % ，andthemoisturecontentoftobaccoleavesintheboxwasmoreuniformafterehydration.Intemsofimpuritycontrol，theumber of juteimpuritiesinthejutebagpackagingwasrelativelylarge，whiletherewerenojuteimpuritiesinthetobaccoleaves nthebox packaging，andthenumberofsecondandthirdcategoryimpuritieswassignificantlylowercompared withthejutebagpackaging.In conclusion，thetobaccoboxpackaginghassignificantlyimprovedintermsofreducingleafbreakage，vacuumhumidificationeffect， andimpuritycontrol.Itwasconvenientforautomatedoperationandconducivetoenhancingtheefciencyoftobaccoleafpackaging， storage，information technology collection，and turnover.
