Logical Thinking and Optimization Paths of Meta - Governance for Online Teaching Teams in Open Universities

Abstract:Basedon its advantages in information technology and rooted in the system of“two-level overall planningand four-level school-running”,Open University hasaccumulated years of practice and exploration in theconstruction ofonline teaching teams.As an important organization for large-scale talent cultivation and the improvement of teaching quality,online teaching teams are confronted with such problems as insuficient collboration among multiple subjects,weak guarantee mechanisms,poor communication and feedback,and hindered team effectiveness.The meta -governance theory is quite appropriate for analyzing and guiding the effective governance of onlineteaching teams.Based on the meta-governance theory,the efective paths to resolve the contradiction between growth rate and quality improvement faced in the construction and operation of online teaching teams,and break through the dilemmas in system -based school-running and collaboration among multiple subjects include: scientificallyselecting meta - governors to strengthen the awarenessof colaborative governance among multiple subjects,enhancing top-level design to optimize and improve the governance model and operation mechanism,and stimulating the potential and vitality of multiple subjects.
